I actually went out to attempt to photograph the super moon which was rising that evening. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to get a suitable shot of the moon, I kept trying to find the best spot in Swanage, eventually ending up stood by the Coastguard Watch Tower at Peverill Point. However, when I turned away from the moon, there was this brilliant sunset and the sun was showing through the clock tower. As I was using my zoom lens it gave the photo the ‘stripy’ effect by compressing the clouds into apparent layers.
